5. Q: How many homes are in the Keystone POA?
A: 105
6. Q: What does the POA do with the dues?
A: The POA uses the dues to enhance and manage the POA property. There are two unbuildable lots that have to be mowed and maintained as well as the drainage area that has to be mowed and maintained at the end of Milestone Rd. We also are responsible for several fences as well as sidewalks in front of the unbuildable lots. The POA also pays for this website and accounting software to collect and manage the dues. In the near future we are exploring the possibility of adding signs at the 5 entrances of the POA or possibly adding a play ground on one of the unbuildable lots. More info to come on both of those issues in the near future.
7. Q: How often should I mow my lawn?
A: Once a week is a good rule of thumb. However the covenant says "Grass, weeds and Vegetation shall be kept mowed and cleared at regular intervals on each lot by the owner thereof as to maintain the same in a neat and attractive manner." (Section 3,Q of the Covenants)
Bentonville considers any lawn to be out of compliance with its code enforcment office if weeds or grass get over 8 inches. You can read Bentonville's code here this code is refrenced in section 302.4.
Well kept yards helps keep our POA attractive and also helps keep down bugs and infestations in our neigborhoods.
